Manage Configuration Packages

To view, apply, edit, etc any saved config package, click Config Packages in the left-side menu and select Config Packages from the dropdown. The main table view is accessed by default when loading a configuration package and provides the ability to view available packages at a glance, the date a package was last modified, and the package owner.

Search Config Packages

Click the magnifying glass icon to open the search box, then start typing the name of a configuration package to refine the table.

View/Edit Details

  1. Click the Details button of the configuration package you want to view or edit.
    Note

    You will only be able to edit a configuration package that you own or have been shared with the Access level of View and Modify or Full Access.

  2. After making your changes, click Update to save your changes or click Reset to undo all your changes.

Delete a Config Package

  1. On the line of the configuration package you want to delete, click the 3-dot icon and select Delete.
  2. Click Delete in the confirmation pop-up.

    This option will only be visible for configuration packages that you own or have been shared with the Access level of Full Access.

Duplicate a Config Package

  1. On the line of the configuration package you want to duplicate, click the 3-dot icon and select Duplicate.
  2. Make any desired changes in the dialog, then click Save.

Export a Config Package

On the line of the configuration package you want to export, click the 3-dot icon and select Export.

Note

If the configuration package does not download, check your browser settings to verify that a pop-up blocker is not on.

Import a Config Package

  1. At the bottom of the dialog, click Import.
  2. Either drag and drop a configuration package file into the table area OR click the box to select the file from your device.
  3. Make any desired changes in the dialog, then click Save.

Create New

  1. At the bottom of the dialog, click New.
  2. Enter a Name and Description (optional).
  3. Click on the other tabs to set all the options you want saved in the config package. (INSERT LINK)
  4. Click Save.

Apply Config Package

Select the configuration package you want to apply and click Apply.

Tip

This behavior can be turned off in User Settings under the Update navigation parameter setting.

Delete All Config Packages

Note

This option will only delete all the configuration packages that you own.

  1. Click the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the dialog and select Delete all my config packages.
  2. Click Delete in the confirmation pop-up.

Export Config Packages Table

To export the entire table:

  • Click the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the dialog, hover over Export and select either Export as CSV or Export as JSON.

To export selections from the table:

  1. Check the configuration packages you want in the export.
  2. Click the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the dialog, hover over Export and select either Export selection as CSV or Export selection as JSON.
    Note

    If the table does not download, check your browser settings to verify that a pop-up blocker is not on.

Adjust Config Packages Table

  1. Click the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the dialog, hover over Columns.
  2. Check the columns you want visible and uncheck the columns you do not want to be visible OR click Display all columns to show all available columns.
